Just landed a 4lb bass earlier. I was using a slip bobber rig and the bass bit my bobber, so I tossed this trout-style swimbait out and it hammered it immediately. I found that reeling in a little faster keeps it in the upper water column and the bites come even more often, works like a charm.

Y’all, I’m not even fishing for fun anymore, I’m just reeling in fish nonstop. I had zero expectations for this lure tbh — I thought it was just a cool-looking gimmick, but nope, it’s way better. I got the A-5 model, 0.9oz, silver body orange tail variant. Haven’t fished in ages, finally hit the river near my town today. Waded a bit, found a nice deep riffle with open sunlit water and bush shade on the banks, figured if any bass were cruising that’s where they’d be. First cast felt great, perfect weight, the swim action in the current is chef’s kiss. It rolls every now and then, looks so real you’d swear it’s a live baitfish. The smoothness of its movement and how natural it looks blew me away. I was gonna head to the lake later to target big bass, but decided to fan cast downstream first to cover both banks. The second the lure hit the water and started moving? BAM huge bite! Landed the biggest trout I’ve ever caught, bigger than any steelhead I’ve gotten during the salmon run — a 32 inch brown trout that cut my hand up bad with its teeth! The strike was so aggressive I thought it was a pike at first. It bit sideways, both hooks punched right through its mouth, no bend in the hooks, the paint and all parts of the lure are totally intact. Hooks are sharp as hell, color pops, I already made back the cost on the first few casts. This is a once in a lifetime catch, I had zero faith in this lure and now I’m obsessed, I’m gonna stock up on these for sure. If I could post a “take my money” emoji I would. Every single penny is worth it. Perfect for big bass or any predatory fish, hands down.
