I bought these pliers for my boat, and they’re perfect for cutting fishing line and getting hooks out of fish mouths!
The pliers, split-ring tip, and cutters work well. I primarily use very large lures, and I had to enlarge the eye alignment slots to fit my needs, but now they’re perfect!
These pliers work just as described! I had no issues at all—great performance overall. I would definitely recommend them!

The integrated scissors are surprisingly effective too! Unfortunately, after heavy use, the scissor part cracked, which was disappointing. However, the rest of the tool is still in great shape. Overall, it's a reliable tool for serious anglers, and I’d still recommend it!
The locking mechanism is a great feature—it keeps the pliers neatly folded for easy storage. I don’t use the o-ring/wacky rig tube, but it’s nice to have. They come with a quality hard sheath, which many others lack. They cut all kinds of line easily, including small 10# braid. The split-ring nose works well, but for changing hooks, I’d go for a dedicated split-ring tool. The locking feature keeps them secure in the sheath, unlike some others. The locking mechanism is a great feature—it keeps the pliers neatly folded for easy storage. I don’t use the o-ring/wacky rig tube, but it’s nice to have. The pliers feel like quality material and provide a secure grip, even with wet hands. So far, there’s been no corrosion. I would definitely buy these again (my son took my first pair!)

These pliers are great! I love the size and length. The only downside is that I wish the handles were either fully rubber-coated or a bit thicker. They feel a little thin, which makes them feel like they might slip out of my hand while using them. They’re lightweight, which is perfect for having on a boat, and they look cool too! I appreciate the locking feature, but the grip comfort could be improved.

These pliers are fantastic for the price! They’re the best I’ve found in the $20-40 range. I’ve tried several under $20, but they just didn’t hold up. While I wouldn’t compare these to $100+ brands, they perform excellently for under $100. I’ve had my first pair for two years and just ordered a second pair. They come with a quality hard sheath, which many others lack. They cut all kinds of line easily, including small 10# braid. The split-ring nose works well, but for changing hooks, I’d go for a dedicated split-ring tool. The locking feature keeps them secure in the sheath, unlike some others. Buy these first, and you won’t regret it!
The pliers are great, but I was surprised that they didn’t come with a hard molded sheath as advertised; it’s made of fabric instead. That said, the pliers themselves seem solid.
