Killer artificial crayfish. Lunkers love it.
So far they seem to have some nice presentation in the water. When looking at budget luers you are really looking at the hook. I mean plastic is plastic and as long as it looks pretty lifelike, and these certainly do, then it really comes down to the quality of the hook. I have caught to fish on this luer averaging around 1-2lbs each and there is no bend in the hook. Tip is nice and sharp and I had no problem setting the hook. I will come back and update if the hook does indeed break or somehow becomes unusable. but so far so good!
I'm addicted to bass fishing. I fish various types of small and medium bodies of water. This package set C-2.5"-0.45oz has a great color selection to accommodate various water clarity conditions with natural/seasonal colors. This set does NOT have any scent that I can tell, including much salt. Although these are .45 oz, I pair this size with <10# fluorocarbon spinning combo. The baits are packaged correctly without compromising the shape. I think the jig head is unique and perfect presentation for a defensive crawfish. Setup is weedless with enough clearance to set the hook. I rated 4 stars for the price per bait. Based on other BIG brands and for the money, I'd like the set to include at least an extra jig head and body. I'd fish this bait/size in the same circumstances I'd fish a shaky head or finesse worm. It's worth a try if you find yourself wanting something new to throw or adding to your arsenal. If your water has crawdads, then this is a bait to try!! Soft Plastic Craws - These dark colors are ideal for murky water. Junebug and Black/Blue Fleck with silver underbelly. These will work perfect with 4/0 EWG texas-rig flipping or pitching into cover. Claws are bubble, so will sit nicely on the bottom in defensive position. You could cut 1/2 the body off and use with a jig as a trailer. They don't seem too salt heavy, and have some scent impregnated.
These are really nice crawfish lures. The weights look just like egg sacs and the action on the lures is perfect. I was only able to get out once with these before the algae and seaweed overtook the local lakes. I had one good follow of a large walleye right up to the boat and two hits on the darker crayfish. I’m heading to northern Wisconsin next week and will give them another try, I think they’ll produce a walleye or smallmouth bass for sure.
Crawfish look great in the water. Throw them on some rocks and the bass attack them. Legs and claw are a little stiffer than most soft baits. The weigh on the hooks is a little beat-up after a few trips, but it's still getting bites.

I really like this lure for fishing slowly around rocks. The claws stay up when it sits on the bottom, and a tiny twitch creates a lot of movement. The VMC weedless hook is also useful when fishing around cover.

The crawfish profile is excellent. The claws, body shape, and UV detail all work together to make it look like something a bass would actually find crawling along the bottom.
This bait has a really subtle action, which I think is perfect for pressured bass. A small lift of the rod makes the claws flap and vibrate without having to move the whole lure very far.
The hook is sharp and the rig is easy to use. I like that I can fish it slowly without constantly worrying about getting stuck in weeds.
I've used it in both clear and slightly muddy water. The darker color works especially well for me when visibility is low, and the weedless rig makes fishing around cover much easier.

The UV egg sac and small details make this look much more realistic than a basic crawfish imitation. I've had good luck working it slowly around rocky bottoms.
