I’m really impressed with the quality and action of these lures! So far, they’ve held up against several bass and a bowfin, with minimal wear and tear. The only downside is that one or two of the treble hooks occasionally snagged the lure. It’s not a dealbreaker, just a minor annoyance.

I bought these for my 17-year-old daughter who’s heading off to college in the Poconos. She loved fishing last year and can’t wait to catch her first bass or carp. Her fishing friends swear by these, so we had to get them. Last summer, she tried them in North Carolina; although she didn’t catch her target fish, she had a blast catching other types at the pier. They’re quite large, bright, and reflective, and their swimming action looks more realistic than her current lures. While she uses live bait, it’s not always easy to find bait near home, and she’s unsure when she’ll leave for college or how limited her budget will be. She’s very happy with these lures, and I think the price (on sale) is actually quite good. Hopefully, she’ll catch that big bass (and release it after a photo).

I knocked off one star because after a long cast the retrieve feels stiff, almost like a torpedo, and there’s no side?to?side wobble without a lip. If they added something to create that irregular swim, it’d be a five?star bait. Price is comparable to similar lures online.

I plan to take it to Wisconsin’s inland lakes for bass; I didn’t expect it to be this big, but I like it. Casting is trouble?free and the swim looks decent. I bought it to fill out my tackle box (I was low on lures) and I’m getting into fishing more seriously – maybe even a boat later. Next week I’m heading to Canada and hope to give it more time. So far I’m happy with the build; durability will show with use, and I really like the finish.
